At friendlyAI.studio (“friendlyAI”, “we”, “our”, or “us”), we are committed to the responsible, transparent, and ethical use of artificial intelligence (“AI”) in the services we provide to our customers.
This statement explains how AI is used within our platform, the limitations of AI systems, and the responsibilities shared between friendlyAI and our customers.
1. How We Use Artificial Intelligence
friendlyAI provides a voice-based AI platform that enables automated customer interactions. Our Services may use AI technologies, including machine learning models and large language models (“LLMs”), to:
Understand spoken language;
Generate automated responses;
Route or escalate interactions;
Improve operational efficiency and user experience.
AI is used as a tool to assist, not replace, human decision-making.
2. Human Oversight
Our platform is designed to support human oversight. Customers determine how AI is deployed within their workflows, including when interactions are escalated to human agents.
friendlyAI does not make autonomous decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects on individuals without customer configuration and oversight.
3. AI Limitations
AI systems have inherent limitations. In particular:
AI-generated responses may be inaccurate, incomplete, or misleading;
AI outputs may reflect limitations or biases present in training data;
AI systems may misinterpret intent or context.
For these reasons:
AI-generated outputs should not be relied upon as professional, legal, medical, or financial advice;
Customers are responsible for reviewing and validating AI use cases appropriate to their context.
4. Transparency to End Users
Customers are responsible for informing end users when AI-powered systems are used, including when voice interactions are automated or recorded.
friendlyAI provides tools and guidance to support transparency, including voice call notices and privacy disclosures.
5. Data Use and Model Training
friendlyAI processes voice data and transcripts solely to provide the Services and in accordance with customer instructions and applicable agreements.
Unless expressly agreed otherwise:
End user data is not used to train or fine-tune third-party foundation models;
Data is retained only for defined periods as described in our Privacy Policy and Data Processing Addendum.
6. Fairness and Misuse Prevention
friendlyAI implements safeguards designed to reduce misuse of AI, including restrictions on:
Illegal or harmful content;
High-risk or mission-critical use cases;
Deceptive or misleading uses of AI-generated content.
Customers are required to use the Services in accordance with our Acceptable Use Policy.
7. Security and Reliability
We take reasonable steps to ensure the security and reliability of AI-powered features, including vendor due diligence and monitoring of platform performance.
However, no AI system is infallible, and availability or accuracy cannot be guaranteed.
8. Shared Responsibility
Responsible use of AI is a shared responsibility:
friendlyAI is responsible for providing secure, well-governed AI infrastructure;
Customers are responsible for lawful configuration, transparency, consent, and oversight of AI use in their specific applications.
9. Continuous Improvement
We continuously review and improve our AI practices in response to evolving technology, legal requirements, and industry standards.
This statement may be updated from time to time to reflect changes in our approach or regulatory expectations.
